MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT EXHIBITS
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT EXHIBITS
Exhibits for the District’s new administrative headquarters, showcasing its mission to preserve an extensive network of open space in the San Francisco Bay Area. Features include a 3D relief model, two-story photo murals on the elevator shaft and atrium walls, and a dimensionally layered exhibit wall.
The exhibit wall combines illustrated mural elements to form a panoramic vista of the District’s protected landscapes. Integrated graphic and discovery panels share insights into conservation efforts and the region’s diverse ecosystems. A reclaimed redwood base with a subtle band of light illuminates the mural, adding warmth and texture to the space.
